DMS 215 - Sonography Clinical Practice III
4 Credit Hours
This third clinical experience offers additional opportunity for hands-on experience in a clinical environment, including attention to neurosonography, abdominal and OB/HYN scans. Students will produce images with guidance and supervision. A minimum of 180 hours are required in the clinical setting.
Prerequisites: Students must have sucessfully completed DMS 100 - Intro to Diagnostic Med Sonography , DMS 105 - Sono Principles & Instrument I , DMS 110 - Sono Principles & Instrument II , DMS 115 - Abdominal Sonography I , DMS 120 - OB/GYN Sonography I , DMS 125 - Sonography Clinical Practice I , DMS 130 - Neurosono & Small Parts Ultrasound , DMS 135 - Sonography Clinical Practrice II , or program director approval to enroll.
Corequisites: DMS 201 - Abdominal Sonography II and DMS 205 - OB/GYN Sonography II or director approval.
