PLGL 105 - Paralegal: Civil Procedure I 3 Credit Hours
This course introduces students to civil courts and litigation. Students will develop an understanding of preliminary procedures in litigation including but not limited to: assessing a case, facts and evidence, drafting Petitions and Answers, and learning various court systems and the different participants and their roles in the legal system. Students will learn the various rules that govern civil litigation and the stages of civil litigation that involve the paralegal.
