ENGL 215 - Introduction To Mythology 3 Credit Hours
This course begins with a study of the characteristics of mythical thought, and then proceeds to an examination of Classical mythology, that is, Greco-Roman stories of gods and heroes. Other mythologies will be considered with attempts to show all myth as a universal form of symbolization. Students will also be aided in understanding the allusions to myth that are made in nearly all areas of human culture.
