NURS 126 - Practicum II 4 Credit Hours
This course builds upon the basic concepts learned in pre-requisite courses while adding more complex concepts from co-requisite courses. Evidence-based practice is applied in the care of individuals in diverse populations to make safe and effective clinical judgments and promote quality outcomes. The student is exposed to the role of the nurse as it applies to patient education and care coordination. Admission to the college and the nursing program.

Prerequisites: NURS 113 - Nursing Assessment , NURS 114 - Patient Centered Care I , and NURS 116 - Practicum I . Corequisites: NURS 124 - Patient Centered Care II .
NURS 122 - Pharmacology for Nursing must be taken and passed prior to or in the same semester as NURS 125 - Professional Nursing Concepts II , NURS 124 - Patient Centered Care II and NURS 126 Practicum II in order to progress in the Nursing Program.
