CSIS 101 - Microcomputer Applications I

This course utilizes beginning computer applications to implement information needs in business through the use of microcomputers and information systems designed to meet these needs. Standard software packages available to support a microcomputer-based executive work station will be reviewed. Included are descriptions of and hands-on work with word processing, electronic spreadsheet, and file management programs. Following is a list of frequently offered topics: Introduction to the Internet, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet for Office Professionals, Introduction to WebPage Design, Quickbooks, Peachtree.
