Secondary Education, AS


The Associate of Science with an emphasis in Secondary Education curriculum at NCCC provides the first two years of general education courses for most bachelor’s degree programs in secondary education. The student must apply for admittance to most teacher education programs after completing the first two years of college.

Prerequisites

The student will need to demonstrate proficiencies in reading, English, and mathematics based on the Mandatory Placement Policy, or by taking the recommended/ required classes. Some of the courses in this curriculum have specific prerequisites.
