PSYC 289 - Research Methods in Social Science


3 Credit Hours

This course is designed as an introduction to the research methods that are used in the social sciences. The course will emphasize understanding of the scientific method, ethics associated with doing research, types of research models, their application and statistical analysis of research results. Students will also have the opportunity to conduct research as part of the course. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have a fundamental knowledge of planning, conducting and reporting research in the social sciences.
