NURS 234 - Patient Centered Care III 3 Credit Hours
This course provides the student with opportunities to apply wellness/illness concepts to populations with complex health conditions. Emphasis is placed on coordinating the care of the individuals experiencing acute and chronic illnesses and promoting health across the lifespan. Strategies to empower and engage individuals/designees in all aspects of the health care process are applied.

Prerequisites: Completion of Level I nursing program and/or NURS 201 - Intro to Professional Nursing , or permission of instructor. Corequisites: NURS 230 - Pathophysiology and NURS 236 - Practicum III .
